TYR Rewind: call centre politics

What did I mean in this series about the politics of the call centre? Here’s an example from the Reddit tech support sub-r. H/t Robin Green, who has a good point:

Not just that, look how: a) nobody actually cares about quality, b) the system forces an adversarial and toxic relationship on the workers and the customers alike, c) the technology is available but just not used.
